Club Como 1907 received new recognition for the renovation project of their Cruva Ovest at the Giuseppe Sinigaglia stadium. The construction of the new stand was awarded the CIS - Cantiere Impatto Sostenibile certificate from ANCE Como, which is awarded to projects that meet the criteria of responsible construction, safety and attention to sustainability at all stages of the work. The award ceremony took place today at the ANCE Como office. The certificate was awarded to the contractor Molteni Enrico & C., who is responsible for the foundation work of the new stand. The project includes the demolition of the existing temporary structure and the construction of a new reinforced concrete grandstand. This work is part of a wider transformation plan for the Sinigaglia stadium and represents an important step towards bringing the site into compliance with UEFA requirements, which will enable Como 1907 to host European matches at their stadium in the future. For the project, Molteni Enrico & C. collaborated with sustainability-oriented partners such as Feralpi Group and Holcim. ANCE Como President, Eugenio Rizzuti, said: “The CIS program was created to encourage a shared culture of sustainability among clients, companies and suppliers. This project demonstrates what can be achieved when everyone involved works towards the same goal, and we hope it will set a positive example for future construction projects.” Managing Director of Como 1907, Eligio Capagni, said: “This recognition reflects the care and effort put into the realization of the new Kruva Ovest. As we continue to develop the stadium, it is important that the work is carried out to a high standard, taking into account sustainability throughout the process.” Francesco Molteni of Molteni Enrico & C. added: "Achieving the CIS certificate was a joint effort from the very beginning of the project. It reflects the collaboration between the club, our suppliers and everyone who works on the construction site every day. We are grateful to all involved for their contribution to delivering the project with quality, responsibility and care."
