Filipe Luis has become the new head coach of AS Monaco. The Brazilian has signed a contract for X years, it was confirmed on Wednesday. Luis succeeds Sebastian Poconoli, who replaced Adi Hütter in October 2025. Despite finishing the season, Poconoli failed to lead the principality club above seventh place in Ligue 1. As a result, the club was unable to fulfill its goal of qualifying for the UEFA Champions League; next season they will participate in the Europa League.
