The head coach of Karagestar Shabester, which represents East Azerbaijan in League 1, expressed his dissatisfaction with some actions that create difficulties for the team. Uhud Rastami noted in an interview that some organizations create problems that, in his opinion, would not arise if they were expressed by a person of non-local origin. He said: “I feel like the private sector is being isolated and a lot of better things could happen. Ninety percent of the private sector is lonely. We're not aiming for a championship and we don't know how to say it. Some people are pursuing their own interests and money, and I ask that it not be because of your pocket. With one goal today we're up five places and we'll have to look at the table in week 10."

Rastami continued: “The Ministry of Sports and Youth is really creating obstacles and we don’t know what to do. They think our owner is joking, but I swear he told me he wants to move the team out of this region. Until we contributed six hundred million tuma, we were not given permission to play with Niru Zemini in the stadium. This team was put together at a cost of one hundred and seventeen billion, but our goal is great and we have a great team with the best players. My team can cope with such pressure and will play even better. Have we given opportunities to Nir Zemini? They didn't stand a chance. Some people take orders from other places, and that's wrong."

The coach also expressed concerns about the future of football in Azerbaijan, adding: “If Mr. Agazade had not taken the team, what would have happened to football in Azerbaijan? The tractor is my love and the love of all Turkic speakers, and its place is different. We are also a Ligue 1 team, and isn't Shabester from this region? We have eight players from Tabriz and three players from Shabester, and this team is primarily for the region and then for Shabester. When we spend six hundred million on a home stadium, it's comparable to the cost of an away game. Shouldn't the Ministry of Sports and Youth even ignore our owner's calls? He spends his own money and many cannot even buy a bottle of water. Let's appreciate it, otherwise we will regret it when he leaves."

In conclusion, Rastami thanked for the support and expressed respect for Neera Zemini's team, saying: “Congratulations to Neera Zemini for a good game. The situation on the pitch was tense and there were events that made it feel like we had missed out on qualifying for the World Cup. The club will continue to follow the given path and good changes will happen to the team.

What happens next

Karagestar Shabester may be forced to seek new development opportunities, including a possible move to another region. This decision may require time and discussion with local authorities and organizations. In the coming weeks, the team must focus on their performances in Ligue 1 to improve their position in the table.
