Franck Kessie is no longer an Al Ahly player. An official statement from the club confirmed that the Ivorian midfielder is leaving the team and he can now be signed by any club without a transfer fee. Kessie ends his career in Saudi Arabia, where he spent three years, winning two Asian Champions League titles and the Saudi Super Cup.

Al Ahly said in a statement: “The club expresses its sincere gratitude to Franck Kessie for his dedication and professionalism throughout his time with the team and wishes him the best of luck in the next phase of his career.”

Kessie's recent comments about a possible move to Juventus have fueled interest in him. He noted: "I've heard talk about Juventus, but right now I'm focused on the World Cup." Despite this, his free agent status and excellent fitness at 29 years old make him attractive to many clubs.

Kessie ends his tenure at Al Ahly with 119 appearances, 26 goals and 14 assists. Now he and his agents have to decide where to go next.
