Kylian Mbappe was named man of the match in France's 3-0 victory over Sweden in the round of 32 at the 2026 World Cup.
The official FIFA website reports that French national team striker Kylian Mbappe was recognized as the best player in the 1/16 finals of the 2026 World Cup with the Swedish national team. The game ended with a score of 3:0. Mbappe helped the “tricolors” defeat the opponent, scoring two goals. The second goal was the Frenchman's sixth at the current world championship. He became the leader in the scoring race, equaling Argentine Lionel Messi.
