According to Mundodeportivo.

Context

Rafinha, who plays for Barcelona, has become an important part of the team and his condition will be closely monitored ahead of the match. His participation could have a significant impact on the club's attacking performance in La Liga, especially in light of the upcoming difficult matches.

Why is this important

Barcelona's return to La Liga with a full squad of players, including Raphinha, is of great importance for the team as it seeks to strengthen its position in the championship. With important matches coming up, such as against Galatasaray and Real Madrid, having all the key players available could be crucial to the club's success.

Key takeaways

• The virus has passed by.
• Barcelona returns to La Liga games with a full squad after international matches.
• El virus pasó de largo, por Xavier Bosch.

Thank God the international matches are over. Barcelona are now looking forward to returning to La Liga action when they host Getafe this coming Saturday. An important circumstance is that the team will be able to field all its stars. The only uncertainty concerns the condition of Raphinha, who was injured after celebrating a goal with an unsuccessful air kick during a match for the Brazil national team. If it was a decisive match, he would definitely be on the field, but given the important matches ahead (Galatasaray, Betis, PSG and Real Madrid), it may be better to leave him in the reserves so that he can fully recover.

The good news is that the FIFA virus has not affected Barça as much as before. Eric Garcia, who returned before the end of training camp, will be at the disposal of Hansi Flick. The defender from Martorell, who played as a lateral for both Barça and the national team, was wise to notice the discomfort during the warm-up and warn the coach. Few players are capable of taking such a step back as Eric did.

Other players called up to the Spanish national team returned to Barcelona in good spirits, with four wins in four matches securing them passage to the quarter-finals of the Nations League. However, their playing time was quite large. De la Fuente used Lamin Yamal, Pedri and Rodri, and to a lesser extent Kubarsi, Olmo and Fermin. They all remained in good shape, although Rodri did not look his best at the match in Split. In the first 30 minutes he could not get the ball as several Croatians immediately piled on him, leading to a large number of turnovers.

While Pedri took charge of the team to ensure Spain fought back from Croatia's early goal, Lamin Yamal again created chances. His three strikes left Guardiola sweating, although it was ultimately Unai Simon who saved Spain from mistakes by Laporte and Zubimendi. The star of the match was again Mikel Merino, who, coming on as a substitute, scored two goals, one of which was a real work of art.

Now that international business has concluded, the 17 players return to Barcelona healthy and ready for their next challenge. Ahead of the match against Getafe on Saturday at 18:30, fans are hoping they can finally congratulate the eight world champions at the Camp Nou. This will be the fifth match in a row at home, and the players remember that.

What happens next

In the upcoming match against Getafe, Barcelona will most likely make a decision regarding Raphinha's participation, given his recent injury. If he is not on the field, the team will rely on other stars such as Pedri and Lamina Yamal to secure victory and remain in the hunt for the La Liga title.
