How Vicenza approaches the match
Vicenza are looking forward to their return to Serie B after a four-year absence, determined to start a new journey at a high level. The team led by Fabio Gallo confidently took first place in Group A of Serie C last season, which allowed them to deservedly rise to the league. Vicenza have retained most of the players who were successful last season and have further strengthened their squad with experienced players to improve their competitiveness. In the match against Catanzaro, the team will operate in the usual 3-5-2 formation. Gagno is expected to play in goal, while the defense will consist of Leverbe, Cuomo and Marchizza. The midfield will be made up of Caferri, Valoti, Zonta and Carraro, while captain Costa will operate on the left flank to provide attacking support. Moncini and Raut will take the field in attack.

After the recent Coppa Italia defeat to Catanza, which ended in a penalty shootout, Vicenza wants to start the new season with a positive attitude and turn disappointment into motivation.

How Catanzaro approaches the match
Catanzaro, under the leadership of Giorgio Gorgon, is also keen to start the new championship with a positive result. After being eliminated from the Italian Cup in a penalty shootout against Sudtirol, the team wants to forget about this defeat and focus on the upcoming match. Despite the setback, the match showed promising aspects of the team's performance, such as ball control and confident reactions to difficult situations. Catanzaro has revamped his squad and brought in young talent, but has also lost several key players, which poses some challenges. The team will arrive for the match against Vicenza without Pittarello and Pafundi, who will not be able to play due to injury. However, there is some good news in the team as the return of Di Francesco and Kofi adds depth to the squad.

Gorgan will have to stick to his 3-4-2-1 formation, with Pigliacelli in goal and Ruggero, Antonini and Verrengia at the back. Midfielders Candela, Mosti, Petriccione and D'Alexandro will be responsible for creating attacks. In attack, Catanzaro will rely on "The King" Pietro Iemmello, who will once again be a key player in the attacking line.

This meeting in Vicenza will be the start for Catanzaro in an environment where the team will have to play matches away from home due to the renovation of the home stadium, which in turn adds additional motivation for a successful start.

What happens next

After this match, Vicenza and Catanzaro will continue their journey to Serie B, where every game will be important in shaping their seasonal outlook.
