Milan have no intention of selling Pulisic despite interest from New York City FC
Milan have no plans to sell Christian Pulisic, despite interest from New York City FC and other MLS teams. Pulisic is focused on the World Cup with the USMNT and his contract with Milan runs until 2027 with an option to extend until 2028.
Christian Pulisic has attracted the attention of New York City FC and several other teams in his home country, but recent reports indicate Milan are reluctant to part ways with the American international this summer. According to reports from La Gazzetta dello Sport on Wednesday, New York City FC are interested in making Pulisic the club's star and are willing to offer him a salary of €10 million a year on a five-year contract. This has been confirmed by The Athletic, who add that several other MLS teams are ready to make offers if Pulisic becomes available this summer. However, this is unlikely as The Athletic report that Milan are not interested in parting ways with Pulisic this summer. The 26-year-old technically enters the final year of his contract this summer, which expires at the end of June 2027, but the Rossoneri have the option to extend that deal by an additional 12 months until the summer of 2028. Pulisic is currently focused on his home World Cup with the USMNT and that is unlikely to change for the rest of the tournament. Milan are trying to sign a new contract with the former Chelsea and Borussia Dortmund striker, but no agreement has yet been reached. It was previously reported that Milan are not feeling much time pressure given their option to extend the striker's contract until 2028.
