Birmingham City will play a friendly match against Barcelona

Birmingham City continue their preparations for the new Championship season, including a prestigious friendly match at their stadium against Spanish champions Barcelona. The event will take place on Friday 31 July at St Andrews Stadium, where Chris Davies' side will take on five-time champions Europe.Previously The teams met five times, all in the Fairs Cup, now known as the Europa League, including the 1960 final, which Barcelona won 4-1 on aggregate.
