Kaczmarek also discussed the negative image of Polish football, which he believes has been a serious burden for a long time. “Football culture in Poland has for many years been associated with corruption, alcohol and hooliganism. It sounds cruel, but that's how it happened. Sometimes outstanding players like Zbigniew Boniek appeared. Unfortunately, for decades after Boniek, we did not have a good club team or national team. The consequence of these years is that many people in key positions in football simply do not understand the game.They don’t understand any other currency other than the result, so a Polish coach, in order to survive in this market, must convey one thing to people: the result,” Kaczmarek emphasized.

Not every president today wants his team to kick the ball forward, but the aspect of educating the youth and turning it into a business must also be considered. In ten years, I, my generation, can become directors, presidents. With the level of knowledge, the culture will change. Poland faces development; in the next 10-15 years we will be able to catch up with many countries. But for now the coach is thinking about the result, because only this can protect him here,” said the Rakov coach.
